What is Assisted Stretching?

Experience tailored sessions that cater to your unique needs, promoting flexibility, recovery, and overall vitality.

Also known as stretch therapy, assisted stretching is a relaxing method that eases pain, restores movement, and reduces stress. A trained specialist moves you through a series of stretches that decompress joints, lengthen tissues, and enhance flexibility. Sessions are one hour on a massage table.

Assisted stretching is a vital part of your fitness journey to help you move better, improve performance, and recover faster from workouts. It feels amazing. Clients often say it’s like a massage but better. They walk away feeling taller and lighter and say it is life-changing!

Your flexibility and strength go hand in hand which is why we also offer strength training services! Click here for info about our strength training.

Where are you located?

What should I wear?

We’re located at 295 Madison Avenue, inside Sports Lab NYC gym. The entrance is on 41st Street between Park and Madison Avenues.

Wear loose and comfortable clothing that allows for movement in all directions. Fitness apparel is ideal. Please remove jewelry prior to the session and have long hair out of the way. Please also wear socks.

How will I feel after a session?

Assisted stretching sessions are very relaxing – like how you might feel after a massage. We recommend scheduling sessions on your off day of training or when you are done with your strenuous activities so you can enjoy the full effect of your session.

How often should I book sessions?

This depends on your activity level and what your goals are. Generally, we recommend 1X week if you’re new to assisted stretching. If you are working on a specific goal, 2-3 times per week.

Yes! We provide stretch services at sporting events in golf clubs, tennis clubs, and fitness centers. Our certified specialists set up with our massage tables to give participants quick and effective pre-/post-game stretches.

Are you available for sports events?

We do not take health insurance, however if you have an HSA account you can use that to pay for appointments.
